Our Siberian Banja (2004-2023) has shaped SATAMA like no other sauna in the park. It was a place for socializing, gathering, meeting, and the birthplace of our show aufguss as we know it today. Some even feel a sense of home in the sense of coming home here. That’s certainly how we felt often, which is why we named the new wooden house SATAMA Kotona (Finnish for 'at home') to honor and remember the old building.

SATAMA Kotona not only houses Nordic tradition, but it also gives our rituals a new realm on the upper floor, complete with a bathing tub, relaxation areas, and an open-air loggia. On the ground floor, alongside the usual lounging corner, you will experience our popular wood-fired oven and a quaintly furnished Kapakka (Finnish for 'pub'), which tells a small piece of SATAMA history, wrapped in style elements from Finland, Sweden, Norway, Estonia, and all other Nordic traditions.

Enjoy heavenly moments with the scent of baked bread at our Kotona square or the popular sauna rituals, which we have also newly laid out for you.

From the depths of Siberia comes one of the most traditional saunas: the Siberian Banja. It primarily contributes to cleansing and rejuvenation. By soaking birch twigs tied with hemp, known as a Wenik, an aufguss-water with a very intense birch aroma is created. Additionally, the fanning and brushing of the skin with the Wenik enhances its anti-inflammatory effects and, most importantly, promotes a sense of joy.

Look forward to a new sauna experience at SATAMA! We discovered a spot in the saunapark, that is made for the SATAMA Traumzauberbaude. The new witch-house-style sauna with a sliding roof and small window shutters will not only complement the SATAMA ensemble as a new building, it will capture those, seeking peace and quiet with a new aufguss-concept - less show, more fairytale dreams. - A new star at our Well-Tainment® sky.

The Maa® sauna is the hottest and most traditional sauna in the SATAMA saunapark. Embedded in the "Märkisch" soil and thus inspired by the original "stone sweat bath", you can smell the fresh wood inside and feel the warmth with temperatures of up to 120°C. The absolute dryness guarantees a unique sauna experience highlighted by the roaring fire-place inside.

The hexagonal Tuli® sauna was built from mighty pine trunks. At temperatures between 80°C and 90°C, the sauna climate is surprisingly mild. At the heart of the Tuli® sauna is the glass chimney in the middle, which is surrounded by spacious benches.

As Berlin and Brandenburg's largest and certainly most exciting sauna SATAMA opens the SATAMA-theatre for you.
Inside, the curtain opens for spectacular aufguss-shows and offers space for up to 160 sauna-guests. This theatre is made for the SATAMA "Well-Tainment®". Experience everyday stories that are made for serene and funny situations in the sauna or engage into emotional moments in "Life is hard but love is stronger". In any case, it is big emotions we offer to you in order to make your wellness day a special day.

In 2013, 2016 & 2018 our SATAMA theatre hosted the AUFGUSS-World Cup with more than 100 participants from all over the world. The World Cup is a terrific event, from which every year not only awesome aufguss-shows but also special friendships emerge.

"Glück Auf" - experience the atmosphere of mine in our Stollnsauna. Designed with glowing salt stones from the Himalaya mountains, it invites you to enjoy relaxing moments. At around 70 °C, the "Steiger" heats you up and celebrates the "miner's ritual" with a salt scrub.

Warm yourself at the cozy tiled stove of the approx. 50 °C warm Tyrolean lounge sauna, and relax with a little alpine atmosphere.

The aufguss-system fills the sauna automatically with moistened air and gives it the character of a cozy mild steam-bath with spicy herbal scent.

The Roman steam bath is decorated with red marble and has an air temperature of about 50 °C. Due to the aromatic steaming the humidity is almost 100%. Enjoy these oriental atmosphere.

The Gradierwerk is a kind of tepidarium (lat. lukewarm) with saline effect. In intervals, brine flows through a wall, filled with blackthorn, and at a temperature of about 40 °C, this kind of tepidarium is excellently suited as an "intermediate sauna". The dry climate, which is slightly above body temperature, improves the blood circulation of the skin and supports relaxation.

The inhalation of saline air also moisturizes the respiratory tract and the lungs will be influenced positively.

Dive into the "Little Orient", where you can experience the ritual of the Rasulbath for yourself with up to 3 people of your choice or enjoy the oriental "Sultans ritual" for two.

After a cleansing shower you will enjoy 4 different muds to your face and body. Under the starry sky of the Rasul, moist oriental scent will make your body sweat.

With circular movements you massage the mud into the skin. Dead skin cells are removed and the subcutaneous tissue is strengthened. A bright light in the sky of the Rasul signals - after about 20 minutes - that a tender shower starts to pre-clean the body. Later, in a very private atmosphere, you will have a quiet rest accompanied by cozy music, a bowl of fresh fruit and a glass of oriental tea. Enjoy a wonderful time in the "Little Orient".

The use of the Rasul bath is possible in conjunction with treatments such as "Weiberwellness", "Little Orient" or "Sultans ritual". Please reserve your Rasul bath in advance.
